Summer is in full swing and after so many days of relentless heat it is a cooler day that helps us slow down and reflect. Colin and I have been busy (today he is doing the yard work) and I just completed sorting and tidying the pantry in the house, the last room that needed some attention.

By now we were hoping to begin packing our belongings from the house but the super slow real estate market in Moose Jaw means that it is highly unlikely that the young couple who put forward an offer on our house in March for an August 1st possession date will be able to honour the contract.

We have reactivated our listing and contacted a couple of people who texted and called last month, but it looks more and more like we have missed the time to sell for another year. We found all…
